The excitement among fans reaches new heights as Nayanthara’s much-awaited Bollywood debut in “Jawan” is drawing closer. The film, directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment with Gauri Khan at the helm, is set to release worldwide on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. To intensify the anticipation, Shah Rukh Khan has unveiled a striking new poster, introducing Nayanthara’s character in the movie.
In the poster, Nayanthara appears in a badass cop avatar, holding a machine gun while exuding confidence in stylish black sunglasses. The glimpse of her action-packed role promises an electrifying performance from the talented actress, making her Bollywood debut opposite the King of Bollywood himself, Shah Rukh Khan.

Sharing the poster on his social media handle, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “She is the thunder that comes before the storm! Nayanthara Jawan Prevue out now! Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.” The poster immediately garnered immense praise from fans and admirers alike, with many applauding Nayanthara’s powerful presence as a cop.

The Jawan Prevue, which was released earlier, gave fans glimpses of Nayanthara’s versatility in various scenes. From donning an elegant yellow saree to embracing a corporate look, Nayanthara effortlessly showcased her acting prowess. However, it is her action sequences, brandishing a gun amidst intense action, that has left fans eagerly awaiting her on-screen debut in the action-packed movie.
Jawan is a highly-anticipated venture that also features cameo appearances by Deepika Padukone, along with glimpses of Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi, and others. Adding to the excitement, the Prevue surprised audiences with a bald Shah Rukh Khan dancing to an old song in the midst of a Metro hijack scene.
The film marks an exciting collaboration between Atlee, Shah Rukh Khan, and Nayanthara, and is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, with Gauri Khan serving as producer and Gaurav Verma as co-producer.
Interestingly, Nayanthara’s husband and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan expressed his admiration for the Jawan Prevue on his Instagram Stories, lauding his wife’s stellar performance. In response, Shah Rukh Khan thanked Vignesh on Twitter, acknowledging Nayanthara’s incredible talent and teasing him about her newfound martial arts skills.
