Nani Shares Excitement for Eega 2: “It has the potential to create the biggest hype of all time”

Actor Nani has hinted at the possibility of reuniting with director SS Rajamouli for the sequel to their blockbuster hit movie Eega. Nani, who is currently promoting his upcoming Telugu film Dasara, spoke about Eega 2 in a recent interview, saying that if the project gets announced, it will have the biggest hype of all time. Eega, which released in 2012, was dubbed and released in Hindi as Makkhi and became a national phenomenon. It tells the story of a man who is reincarnated as a housefly to avenge his own death. The film starred Nani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Kichcha Sudeep in key roles and was a massive success at the box office.

In an interview with the media recently, Nani said that he and Rajamouli discuss the possibility of making Eega 2 every now and then. He praised Rajamouli’s skills in creating something so amazing with limited access to CG technology and suggested that the director could achieve even greater results with his current power and access to Hollywood technicians.

Eega was made on a limited budget in 2012, but it went on to become a huge money spinner at the box office. It was not only a success in Telugu but also in Hindi and Tamil. Meanwhile, Nani’s upcoming film Dasara is set to release on March 30. At the teaser launch, Nani said that he has great expectations from the project, which will be a career-defining film for him.

Dasara is originally shot in Telugu, but it will also be released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sai Kumar in key roles.
