Telugu films are gaining popularity beyond the southern region of India, with recent box office successes like RRR and Pushpa: The Rise being released in multiple parts of the country. Telugu actor Nani is also following this trend as he gears up for the release of his upcoming film, Dasara, on March 30. The actor has launched a nationwide campaign to promote the movie, even in cities like Jaipur, Nagpur, and Lucknow.
Nani plays the role of Dharani, a coal mine worker with a fiery personality, in Dasara. However, his life takes a dangerous turn when he crosses paths with sinister characters. While the film is dubbed in other languages, Nani firmly believes that it will connect with audiences across India.
In an interview with the media during his promotional tour in Delhi, Nani stated that he would not be following the same promotional template for all his upcoming films. He believes that it depends on the content and its potential to connect with people across different languages and regions. Nani also added that he would not promote native Telugu films in North India, but if the content appeals to a wider audience, he will bring it to everyone.
