Jr. NTR jets off to LA; looks to move west with new project?

Over the past couple of weeks there has been tremendous buzz surrounding the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR going to the west. In fact, the Ram Charan, Jr. NTR starrer has garnered praise and accolades across the seas with both critics and audience applauding the film. While on one hand Rajamouli will certainly be happy with the reception his venture has been receiving, we hear that one of the actors in the film is looking to move west. If the grapevine is true, then apparently Jr. NTR jetted off to LA well in advance, arriving before the rest of the RRR team, the actor was there looking to interact with his western counterpart and filmmakers.

Revealing details about the same, a well-placed industry source informed, “Yes, Jr. NTR did arrive in Los Angeles before the RRR contingent. His goal was clear; he had a series of meeting with filmmakers and production houses, and actors as well. The fact that RRR became a global phenomenon and that he already has some standing obviously helped him get in the door. From there Jr. NTR has been doing his best to make inroads in Hollywood.” Prod the source for details on the actor’s meeting and plans and he continues, “He did meet quite a few well-placed and influential people. As for his plans, they are clear as day; Jr. NTR is looking to move west. It does not hurt to try something, and if it does click, well then why not?”

While there has been no update from the actor on this front, by the looks of it, we are certain that Jr. NTR is looking to make a move.
