Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who has been turning heads with his look from Nag Ashwin’s upcoming film “Kalki 2898 AD,” featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan, expressed his admiration for the film’s director in his latest blog post on May 23rd.

Bachchan, known for his iconic roles, is preparing for the much-anticipated pan-India movie. He shared heartfelt words on his blog, commending director Nag Ashwin for his vision. Reflecting on the creative process, Bachchan wrote, “When you work on such projects, it is never known what the end results shall be. As the days pass by, and the clips and finer points begin to appear, you wonder how in hell did the director conceive all this, and the admiration never stops. Now, I end this DAY with wonder and admiration.”

Furthermore, the veteran actor introduced “Bujji,” the robot character from the film, on his blog and shared his experience working on the project. Bachchan marvelled at the technological marvel behind “Bujji” and credited director Nag Ashwin for his innovative thinking and execution.

Amitabh Bachchan’s blog post coincided with the mega pre-release “Kalki 2898 AD” event held at Ramoji Film City (RFC) in Hyderabad on May 22nd. The event unveiled key characters, including Bhairava and his loyal robot Bujji, setting the stage for the film’s highly anticipated release.

In “Kalki 2898 AD,” Bachchan will play Ashwatthama, adding another iconic role to his illustrious career. Fans were left awestruck by recent glimpses into the film’s world, particularly Bachchan’s portrayal and the stunning de-aging transformation he underwent for the role.

Directed by Nag Ashwin of “Mahanati” fame, “Kalki 2898 AD” is set in a post-apocalyptic future and features Prabhas in the lead role as Bhairava. Inspired by Hindu mythology, the film promises to be an epic sci-fi spectacle, with Prabhas also portraying the character of Kalki’s alter ego.
